Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to everyone! I would like to say a special thank you to all who hold me and the mission in prayer. I have had many occasions where I have felt being in a state of grace and I attribute that to all the good vibes out there.

I am looking forward to when I return to Chimbote. Not only will I speak more Spanish but I should be returning to a brand new backyard. At present it is overgrown and diseased. I have donated some of my stipend to fix up the garden and have asked the other missionaries to donate some of their time to supervise the gardener while I am gone. If all goes well, the garden should be in its early growth stages in May. We are starting many plants from seeds and clippings. The gardener we hired has done beautiful work in hospice so I hope he stays true to his reputation and stays on budget. I will not be writing in my blog for April because I will be avoiding English. Spanish only! Check back in May. I hope you have a blessed Easter season!
